New Delhi, Feb 20. (PTI): Nucleus Software, a banking and financial solutions provider, on Monday said it has won an order from Nigeria-based United Bank for Africa (UBA) for implementation of its flagship software FinnOne.
With the implementation, UBA will overhaul its entire credit and loan operations across the country, a Nucleus press release said here.
The company, however, did not disclose the order value.
This deal will increase the company's presence in the African banking industry as this is the second order from Nigeria in less than a year, it said.
UBA Plc, with a network of over 500 Branches, is the first Nigerian bank with a balance sheet in excess of the One Trillion-Naira mark as well as the only African bank to have a branch in New York, the statement said.
FinnOne is an integrated suite of applications designed to support the whole spectrum of business offerings of banks and financial institutions.
