Bank of Makati Deploys FinnOneTM Core banking suite on IBM pSeries

Rural Bank of Makati, Inc. (RBMI) recently contracted Nucleus' FinnOne Core Banking Suite that will provide a comprehensive, flexible and secured automated solution designed to address the operational and MIS needs of the bank's several departments.
"As part of RBMI's several initiatives to improve productivity levels and strengthen operations, we are investing P80 million this year in information technology to gain more clients," said Mr. German S. Pijuan, Jr., RBMI's CIO.
The bank's technology investments include Core Banking Systems, Branch Computerization, Disaster Recovery Set-Up as well as a comprehensive Security System – all designed to address the bank's growing loan portfolio and network of branches nationwide.
As one of the biggest rural banks in the country, RBMI has been achieving growth with a 140% increase in its 2005 total assets of P4.020 billion compared to the previous year.
FinnOne Core Banking Suite runs on IBM's pSeries server platform. It is an integrated suite of applications designed to support the typical business offerings of Banks and Financial Solutions companies.
