Nucleus Software Exports Bags Order from Acom

Nucleus Software (Q, N,C,F)* Exports bagged a contract from Acom, a leading consumer finance company in Japan, to implement FinnOne and PowerCARD offshore development services to be offered from India.
The scope of the deal covers end-to-end IT transformation of ACOM consumer finance operations across its branches and networks. The contract is expected to consolidate the company`s position as a global player for financial solutions segment. Furthermore, the deal would enhance its reach to other companies using such solutions.
ACOM views the alliance with the company as strategic opportunity to construct new computer system, promote offshore development which helps attain drastic reduction of system development, maintenance & running cost. Introduction of FinnOne will help ACOM in restructuring general ledger, operation and connection system, which supports loan, credit card and guarantee businesses.
The solution essentially ensures easy access and operational convenience, along with instant information availability on credit card transactions. ACOM selected the company`s flagship product `FinnOne` for refurbishing their loans, guarantee, and credit card business. New technology at ACOM is expected to be live by sometime in 2009 followed by supporting the same from India which is separate from this deal and follow when new technology will be live.
Shares of the company were last trading higher Rs 24.10, or 2.96%, at Rs 838. Total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 146,608. ( 2.51 PM, Friday)
