Nucleus Software net jumps 160 pc in Q2

NEW DELHI: Increase in product-related revenues helped banking software company Nucleus Software Exports post 160 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit in second quarter to Rs 8.78 crore.

The revenues of the company during July-September were up 48 per cent as compared to the same period last year and touched Rs 35.72 crore.

"The increase in share of revenues from products and productrelated services to 36 per cent in second quarter from 24 per cent in the same period a year ago was the main reason for the higher increase in net profit," Mr Vishnu Dusad, Chief Executive Off icer and Managing Director of Nucleus told PTI.

The company is expecting to increase the share of revenues from products and product-related services to 40 per cent by the end of 2005-06 from 36 per cent at present. Nucleus added six new customers during the quarter taking the total to 105. - PTI
