Nucleus Software Q4 New Profit up 27.63 percent

MUMBAI: Nucleus Software Exports Ltd on Thursday posted a 27.63 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 42.09 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as against Rs 31.02 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal.
The company's consolidated revenue grew 35.69 per cent to Rs 42.09 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 31.02 crore for the same period in 2004-05.
The Board has recommended a dividend of Rs 3.50 on shares of Rs 10 each (35 per cent) for the financial year ended March 31, 2006.
For the year ended March 31, 2006, the consolidated net profit increased to Rs 37.09 crore as compared to Rs 20.75 crore in the previous year.
The consolidated revenues grew 43.54 per cent to Rs 148.05 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 as against Rs 103.14 crore in 2004-05.
Nucleus Software provides customised software solutions to the banking and financial services sector.
The company's shares were trading at Rs 405, up 3.33 per cent at the BSE.
