Nucleus Software Bags Orders for 16 Modules This Qtr

Nucleus Software has come out with second quarter numbers. It has posted consolidated net profit of Rs 16.2 crore for the quarter ended September 2007 as against Rs 14 crore in previous quarter.
Consolidated net sales increased to Rs 70.4 crore from Rs 66.7 crore.
Vishnu R Dusad, MD of Nucleus Software has informed that the company has added orders for 16 modules in this quarter and overall 36% modules for the first half. Dusad sees a healthy growth in the second half of the year.
Excerpts from CNBC-TV18’s exclusive interview with Vishnu R Dusad: Q: Walk us through this quarter in terms of margins and what is it that you are targeting in the second half of this financial year?
A: Am glad to let you know that despite the pressure on exchange rate, we have healthy growth on our topline, bottomline, good collections and the best part is we have been chosen as top 200 under a billion companies in Asia Pacific by Forbes, which gives us immense satisfaction.
Q: Talk a bit about the revenue contribution both from product and services side of your business?
A: This quarter our revenue contribution from products and related services has gone up to record high of 70%, which gives us capability to take care of the exchange rate issues in future as well.
Q: What kind of client addition have you been seeing on BFSI vertical and for FY08? What’s the guidance that you are laying?
A: As a policy we do not give guidance, but our pipeline is very healthy. We have added orders for 16 modules in this quarter and overall 36% modules for the first half and we see healthy growth in second half and years to come for that matter.
