At Nucleus Software Foundation, we believe that financial independence is a powerful tool for empowerment. Through our partnership with Siragu, a dedicated NGO, we have been transforming the lives of underprivileged women in the suburbs of Chennai by equipping them with valuable skills in tailoring and embroidery.
Our Training Program
To support women from marginalized backgrounds, we have established seven tailoring and embroidery training centers across various localities. These centers serve as platforms for skill development, where women from nearby communities enroll to learn a trade that can help them become self-reliant.
Each batch consists of approximately 15 women, and the training program lasts between two to two and a half months. By the end of the course, the participants gain proficiency in stitching, embroidery, and related crafts, enabling them to either start their own ventures or find employment in the garment industry.
Impacting Lives, One Stitch at a Time
With a structured curriculum and hands-on training, we are able to impact the lives of more than 500 women every year. The training not only enhances their technical skills but also boosts their confidence, providing them with the opportunity to break free from financial dependency. Many of our graduates go on to launch their own tailoring businesses, take up freelance embroidery projects, or secure jobs in boutiques and garment factories.
A Step Towards Economic Independence
By offering free training and ensuring accessibility, we are contributing to a more inclusive and financially independent future for women in the region. Our initiative aligns with our broader mission to uplift communities through sustainable skill development and create a lasting social impact.
We take immense pride in the success stories emerging from our centers and are committed to expanding our efforts to empower even more women in the coming years.
Together, we can stitch a brighter future!
