At Nucleus Software, we believe that technology has the power to transform industries, and when it comes to the transformation of lives, we believe that technology has an even stronger role to play. With this belief Nucleus Software Foundation was established.
The Nucleus Software Foundation (NSF), a not-for-profit organization, is focused on using the latest technologies to engage, motivate and educate children at the primary school level. We believe that children are the biggest asset of any country and hence we want to set their base right by inculcating education through the use of engaging technology and transforming their lives.
With this, we have started the NSF Tab Program. This program is designed to make better use of technology as an educational tool. Powered by the latest research in how multimedia and gamification drives increased engagement we have created interactive modules mapped to the school syllabus. The approach has been proven in real-life operation and the feedback from the children is excellent – they love using the new devices. The program also makes use of intelligent assessment tools on the devices, called NSF Tabs, to provide teachers with information about how the children are progressing in their education.
We also understand the importance of a mentor’s role in ensuring that technology programs such as the NSF Tab Program are effective and that’s why we created the NSF Training Program for Teachers. This training program is run at government schools and other NGO aided schools and is designed to certify participants as ‘NSF Tech Mentors’. Innovative, exciting content and an effective mentor are the key drivers of success in the NSF Tab Program.
In addition to our primary focus of digitizing primary education, we maintain a special fund for national disasters such as floods, women empowerment activities, vocational training, etc.
Mrs. Madhu Dusad and Mrs. Sonia Singh are the trustees of the Nucleus Software Foundation. The trust works with the CSR committee comprising Nucleus Board members Mr. Vishnu Dusad, Mr. S.M. Acharya, Mr. Prithvi Haldea and the Chairman Prof Trilochan Sastry.
Using technology to improve educational outcomes, empowering the underprivileged, unleashing children’s’ potential and improving lives.
Our mission is to improve educational outcomes for children at primary level in government schools and affordable NGO aided schools, through the use of innovative, easy to use technology. We believe that technology has the power to transform educational outcomes and that everyone, no matter what their financial background should have access to technology in education.
After a lot of internal brainstorming and decades of expertise in technology, we decided to focus on improving education through easy to use technologies infused with interactive, multimedia content. For maximum impact the technology is introduced early which means that children are engaged during their first phase of learning in life. The tablet device has learning games, interactive content, story based content curated under one platform. After all the ground work, we have started the NSF Tab Program with different NGO Partners.
