At Nucleus, we have had a longstanding relationship with excellence. This is why we recognise excellence wherever we see it, almost in an instant. It was this excellence, of the very same kind that inspires each Nucleite, that we saw in the eyes of a bunch of students at the Premier Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT) . They wanted to take India to new heights by being the first participating team from India in a Society Of Automotive
Engineers(SAE) event.

"Society of Automobile Engineers (SAE) holds a student formula car competition named Formula-SAE, in which the teams conceive, design, fabricate, and compete with small formula-style racing cars. Formula-SAE is a prestigious event being held in five continents with seven venue countries. These are USA, UK, Germany, Japan, Italy, Brazil and Australia."

We saw promise in their proposal and Nucleus Software decided to sponsor this innovative first-of-its-kind student initiative.The students then took on their creative genius to design a formula-style racing car and participated in the competition in California . Team Axlr8r from IIT Delhi did India proud. Being the first and only Indian team to participate in FSAE WEST 2007 it secured the 58th rank, coming out ahead of various teams from USA, UK, Canada, China and Japan.

This is a stupendous achievement, not just for the team, but for the entire country, and we at Nucleus are very proud to be associated with such a noble cause.
